The leaves were beautiful when we went out for our pumpkin picking. Here are a few pictures of their beautiful yard and some of the surrounding fields. I love to be out in the open areas.

We have had some amazing sunsets lately and with some of them, I’ve been lucky to catch them before they fade. Some are probably contributed to fires and smoke, but some, the cloud formations and the lighting are just amazing.
Carlos knows the names of these clouds….I think they are called mountain waves and are actually very dangerous to fly in because of the high wind speeds which cause them to form these shapes.
This was the sun the evening of the Herriman Fire:
Wow. And Lucky. That’s all I can say here:
And this was last night’s sunset. I just wish I didn’t have the power lines in so many of the pictures!
This is part of my neighbor’s trees. The bloom really late and flower all summer. I don’t know what they are called but they’re pretty nifty!
I took this awhile ago with my neighbor’s camera (which is exactly like mine) because while we were at her house, sitting on the front steps talking, it started to rain. The sun was shining from behind and illuminated the raindrops. I didn’t do a great job getting a picture but it was still pretty cool! If you look really close, you can see the raindrops!
This was the rainbow that followed. There was a little bit of a double rainbow. I love the rain!
Apart from the fact that it was actually delightfully cool on the Fourth, I was pretty pleased with this picture since it was dark and I couldn’t see exactly what Austin was doing with his sparkler. I just wanted to catch whatever design he might be making. He is a little blurry but that’s okay!
This is my serious Austin!
